Stop shooting and tase

Congratulations on tasing.
I would much rather hear of the police subduing a suspect by tasing rather than killing. As I know it, the first duty of a police officer is to interfere with a disruptive instance, secondly to pursue the perpetrator.
It is for the courts to decide the degree of wrongdoing and the penalty.
If the perpetrator is dead, there is no trial or anybody left to question as to motive or linkage to other cases or criminals. We have learned nothing.
So, stop shooting and tase.
