On Saturday, May 28, Sailor’s Creek Battlefield Historical State Park will host a Memorial Day Observance ceremony.

Starting at 11 a.m., visitors will gather in the Exhibit Hall to listen to a commemorative speech provided by Maj. Gen. Kenneth Bowra (U.S. Army, retired).

Following the presentation will be a wreath-laying ceremony at the Battlefield Monument, concluding with a musket volley salute and a bugler playing “Taps.”
