Lancers extend trend of success in CBE and beyond

Longwood University seniors Alex O’Dell, Alana Mackey and Asha Bala Krishnan have continued an impressive string of student-athlete success in the College of Business and Economics (CBE).
O’Dell, a member of the Longwood men’s golf team and an economics major, earned the Delta Sigma Pi Key for holding the highest GPA among seniors with at least 75 credits at Longwood. He received the Award for Academic Excellence in Economics with a 3.79 GPA, he was a Big South All-Academic Team selection and the male recipient of the Henry I. Willett Scholar-Athlete award.
Krishnan, a member of the women’s golf team and a business administration major, owns a 3.71 GPA. She has been named a Longwood scholar-athlete and this year earned the Henry I. Willet Scholar-Athlete Award. A four-year starter on the women’s soccer team and a business administration major, Mackey was the recipient of both the SNVC Outstanding Citizen Leader in the CBE award and the Award for Academic Excellence in Finance.
