The marriage of Ms. Mary Harner and Mr. Troy J. Black took place on February 20 in Farmville. Mary is the daughter of the late Joseph Trent and Doris Jones Smith, of Farmville. Troy is the son of David and Judy Black and father of Bradley Austin and Mia Natane, all of Farmville.

Mary is employed by Centra Southside Community Hospital as a medical transcriptionist-III, while Troy is the store manager for Bullock Brothers Tigercat dealership in Dillwyn.

Their ceremony and reception were held at The Mill Room with close friends and family in attendance. 

After their honeymoon, the couple now reside in Farmville.
