Peggy Kelsey and Polly Duncan, the “Simpson twins,” celebrated their birthdays beginning with breakfast at Charleys. Later they enjoyed eating with other family at Cruis-in Cafe at Keysville. On Saturday they joined Polly’s family for a luncheon in Powhatan.

On Wednesday Norma Hertzler visited with Pat Smith.

On Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Smith were luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith at Ruby Tuesday.

Flora Bolt, Judy Bolt and Jennifer Bolt attended the Farmville/Prince Edward Historical Society meeting on Tuesday; following the meeting the three ladies enjoyed dinner at McDonald’s.

It is always good when family members get together for any reason. On Thursday Margaret and Richard Stockton, of Prospect met her Aunt Gwen Paulson, of Chester, cousins, Frances Motley and her son Rion, both of Hampton, Marsha Paulson, of Richmond, her sister and her husband, and Jean and Larry Derrenbacker, of North Chesterfield, for lunch at Cracker Barrel in Richmond. The fellowship and food were great.

The Rev. Chuck Klotzberger will be at Appomattox PE Presbyterian Church at Tuggle on Sunday; all are invited.
