The Prince Edward-Farmville Youth Association held its Opening Ceremonies for Dixie Youth baseball and softball Saturday. During the ceremonies, Haley of Farmville presented a donation of $500 to the association. PEFYA also dedicated the Field of Dreams sports complex in board member Ralph Dews’ honor. Dews has served as the PEFYA president for 21 years, but has been involved in the organization for over 28 years.
