First Bank, represented by Ossie J. Harris III, right, recently donated $250 in support of the Upward Basketball program held at Maysville Baptist Church. The church, located at Buckingham Court House, has sponsored the popular activity for many years for youth. Quintin Yoder, representing the program, accepted the check. This is just one of the many businesses that support programs — both academic and athletic — across the Heart of Virginia. We’re fortunate to have such businesses in our community.
