Bear Creek Lake State Park will hold a Campfire Critters program on Saturday from 6-7 p.m. at the Acorn Loop Campfire area.

The program will explore Virginia’s native wildlife throughout several weeks.

Each week, participants will focus on different animals that can be found in the immediate area.

Participants will be taught about new species through hands-on activities.

Participants are welcome to bring s’more fixings for the program each week.

The program is free of charge.
