Three reasons to keep the golf course open

Here are three viable reasons that Longwood University should not close the Longwood Golf Course.
Right now, the course is in the best shape ever, and when the azaleas and crepe myrtles bloom, it becomes Farmville’s Augusta.
The course is the best bridge to bring the Longwood and Farmville communities together.
And, on June 23, I become four score and move to the forward tees.
Finally, I will have the chance to kick butt on these young, long-hitting, flat bellies who have consistently taken my money for the last 25 years.
By closing on June 30, it doesn’t give me time to recoup.
Please reconsider this decision.
