The Farmville Area Ministerial Association is currently conducting a series of Lenten services for the community on Wednesdays at noon. The remaining schedule is: March 9 – Farmville United Methodist Church; March 16 – Farmville Presbyterian Church. A soup lunch will follow each service; all are invited. A community Good Friday service will be March 25 at noon at the Farmville Baptist Church. An offering is collected during each service for the FAMA Emergency Fund, which helps people in need to deal with delinquent utility bills.
