The Buckingham County High School varsity soccer team shut out the Central High School Chargers 11-0 on Monday evening.

With the win, the Knights improve to 2-0.

Tinos Trejo and Brent Davis led the Knights with three goals each. Zach Baird, Devin Townsend, Cody Smith, John Mark Cadwell and Christian Flood scored a goal apiece.

“Overall, we played pretty well, but we still have things we need to improve on,” said coach Brett Whittington.

The team will return to action on Monday, April 4, when it travels to Goochland for a 7 p.m. game.
