Graduating seniors enrolled in Prince Edward County High School are invited to apply for the fourth annual Elias Harold Jones Memorial Scholarship for Leadership and Character.

Elias was a senior at PECHS when he died suddenly in 2012. To honor his memory, family and friends funded a scholarship for a PECHS student who will continue his or her education in either a two or four year college or university.

The scholarship application packet is available in the guidance office of PECHS. The award amount has been raised to $1,500 this year. Students who have been active in the community and in school are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is April 21.
