Fuqua Lower School students joyfully celebrated Dr. Seuss’ 112th birthday recently with story time with Dean Tucker. They also created hats like those in “The Cat in the Hat” and devoured green eggs and ham for a snack. A visit from Special Operations Lt. Bill Hogan and Detective Sammy Entrekin, of the Farmville Police Department, added to the excitement. Hogan read “Green Eggs and Ham” to preschool and pre-k students.
