CVA exhibit continues through March

Central Virginia Arts is featuring of the work of Anthony Hurt and Venus Powers in an exhibit through March 26 at the Riverside Café, 522 North Main St., Farmville.

Hurt’s work in acrylics and graphite pencils offers a wide range of diversity in color, design and form. Powers paints in oil and acrylics and illustrates in pen, ink and watercolor.

An opening reception to view the exhibit and enjoy appetizers and desserts prepared by CVA members was held Feb. 5. The exhibit is on display from 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Central Virginia Arts, a partner of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, is a regional organization designed for artists and art appreciators. Lectures, workshops, exhibits, tours and social events are offered throughout the year. For further information on CVA, call Tom Dennison, president, (434) 392-6804.
