CENTENARY — A 43-year-old Scottsville man died Friday after his vehicle was struck head-on while traveling on Route 20, north of Route 652.

The two-vehicle crash — reported at 5:26 p.m. — killed Ryan K. Snow — according to Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller.

“A 2001 GMC pickup truck was traveling along Route 20 when it crossed the centerline and struck head-on a 1981 Dodge Power Ram that was traveling in the opposite direction,” Geller said.

Snow, the driver of the Dodge Ram, died at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt, Geller said.

“The cause of the crash remains under investigation,” she said.
