Master Gardeners plan succulents workshop

Virginia Cooperative Extension and the Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners will host a workshop on succulents on March 5 at B & M Greenhouse, located at 1822 Greenhouse Road, Farmville. Chris Rogers of B and M Greenhouse and a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in horticulture will lead participants in making a succulent container garden while sharing information about succulents.
The workshop will begin at 10 a.m. and is open to adults and children accompanied by adults. Registration fee is $20 and includes a planting container, plants, soil and pea pebbles. Participants are encouraged to bring small stones, ornamental wood pieces or other decorative accessories for their project.
Prior registration and payment are required; forms are available on the Heart of Virginia Master Gardener’s website at www.hovmg.org.
