Fuqua School K/1 students recently celebrated the 100th day of school. Students of Susan Johnson and Tracy Carilli made a 100-piece variety snack, created headbands using 100 items, set up a museum of projects each housing 100 items and wrote two books. One book, titled “If I had $100,” details what students would do with the money. In “100 Days Smarter,” each page begins with the sentence, “100 days ago I did not know … , but now I do.” Looking over all they had learned gave the students a real sense of accomplishment.
