Frank Oliver Huskey

Frank Oliver Huskey, 89, of Buckingham, died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, January 29, 2016. Born March 6, 1926 in Sevierville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Charley and Josie Clabo Huskey.
He was a member of the Maysville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He served his country in the U. S. Navy in Okinawa. He was a farmer at heart and worked for Westvaco of 37 years as district supervisor.
Mr. Huskey is survived by his two sons and their wives, Dennis and Vickie Huskey of Bailey, NC and Terry and Rita Huskey of Buckingham; two grandchildren and their spouses, Amber and Chris Hucks and Jesse and Melissa Huskey; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Nicholas and Jackson Hucks and Allison Huskey; two brothers, Dewey and Howard Huskey; and a sister Alene Crowder. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Baker Huskey, two brothers, Lloyd and Coy Huskey, and three sisters, Rose Whited, Reba Gheen and Dorothy Adcock.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 2 at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment in the Buckingham Community Cemetery.
