A packed courtroom with standing room only was witness to Megan Clark’s official swearing in as Prince Edward Commonwealth’s Attorney on Monday afternoon at the county’s courthouse. Clark, a 2001 graduate of Prince Edward County High School, is the first woman and African-American to hold the seat. Clark, far left, took the oath from Circuit Court Judge Kimberly White, second from right. Looking on are Clark’s parents, Theresa and Lorenzo, standing to the right of Clark, and Circuit Court Clerk Machelle Eppes, far right.
