Loaves of Love plans food distribution

Happy birthday to Anita Ford, of Appomattox, (Jan. 17); Cecil Ashburn and Junior Trent, both of Cumberland, (Jan. 18); Dottie Roosevelt, of Cumberland, and Roy Knighton, of New Canton, (Jan. 20).

Congratulations to Danny and Janet Powers, of Cumberland, who will celebrate their wedding anniversary on Jan. 16.

Betty Atkins, of The Woodlands, celebrated her 79th birthday Jan. 9. A nice crowd attended a birthday celebration for her at The Woodland on Sunday afternoon.

Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland, were evening dinner guests of Jane Cooke and her daughter Stacey Givens and son Sam on Jan. 6.

Loaves of Love food pantry, operated by the Seven Day Adventist Church, will hold its next food distribution Thursday, Jan. 21, from 2-4 p.m. and Sunday Jan. 24 (food boxes are served on a first-come, first serve basis).

Bring two forms of ID, a photo ID and proof of residence in Cumberland.

Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are accepted.
