Jamerson and Allen team up to help children

When she found out that majority of foster children come into care without any possessions or with their possessions in trash bags, Melissa Jamerson, right, a local nurse and a Thirty One consultant, teamed up with Kimberley Allen, left, a family services supervisor at Prince Edward Social Services, to resolve that problem. With the support of the community, Jamerson and Allen were able to purchase 10 Thirty One tote bags, each monogrammed with a message “You are loved,” and filled with toys and necessities for foster children. We commend Jamerson and Allen for making the lives of foster children better. Send “Way to Go” photos with names and a description to waytogo@farmvilleherald.com.
