The Farmville Area Kiwanis would like to thank all of our community supporters who helped us to serve over 200 children this Christmas.

We appreciate every contribution, from the big toys to the small change we gathered outside of Walmart. Together, we make great things happen!

We are always looking for people who share our mission of helping children in our area. An individual membership is $120 a year, with additional options for businesses and organizations. The club meets first and third Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at La Parota, with speakers joining us our second meeting of the month. All are invited to visit.

One of our projects gaining momentum in the new year is the Grove Street Park playground revitalization project. Please watch our website and Facebook page for more details or to make a donation to our playground fund. Our community and our children deserve a contemporary playground with equipment designed for children of all abilities and ages.
