The Race Street Baptist Church Youth Ministry and the Kappa Rho Omega Chapter and the Lambda Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., will sponsor a celebration of service in honor  of  the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. entitled  “Our Past, Our Present and Our Future” on Monday at 1 p.m. at the church located at 615 Franklin Street, Farmville. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Cetric Gayles, associate pastor of Race Street Baptist Church. The community is invited to attend and to donate backpacks and school supplies to support the sorority’s International Program.
