Three arrested in Green Bay robbery, suspects held three at gunpoint

Three teenagers have been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery where three people were held at gunpoint in a Green Bay home on Wednesday, Dec. 9.

According to Maj. David Wilmoth of the Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Office, the 14-, 16- and 17-year-old males are charged with armed robbery, three counts of abduction, breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit break and enter and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Two were arrested on Dec. 13 while one of the suspects was arrested Monday.

The arrests stem from an incident reported in the 13000 block of Patrick Henry Highway, U.S. Route 360, at about 3:38 p.m.

“Two … males entered the residence [and] displayed firearms to the complainant. They stole a tattoo set and a Playstation 4,” Wilmoth said. “They left on foot and [are] believed to have gotten into a vehicle.”

No one was injured during the incident.

“They held three people [at gunpoint],” Wilmoth said of the abduction charges.

“We have recovered the property that was taken,” he said.

The three juveniles are being held at the Piedmont Juvenile Detention Center, according to Wilmoth.

Wilmoth said that the investigation is ongoing. Sheriff’s Deputy Sarah Coen and Investigator Joe Sprague are investigating the incident, he said.
