A 50-year-old Buckingham County woman has been arrested and charged with seven counts of manufacturing a controlled substance.
Gloria Moody was arrested on Dec. 8 “as a result of an ongoing criminal investigation,” said Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller.
She said that State Police filed the charges against Moody.
“A grand jury returned the indictments against her in September and she was taken into custody Dec. 8.” Geller said.
All seven charges are felonies.
Piedmont Regional Jail officials say Moody is being held on a $12,000 secured bond.
A circuit court trial is set for Tuesday, Jan. 11 in Buckingham.
