FARMVILLE — Dr. Kwabena Donkor of the Riverside Chest Clinic has announced his retirement, but the chest clinic he founded will continue to operate with staff members from Lynchburg Pulmonary Associates (LPA) after his departure.
According to a press release from LPA, on Jan. 5, a team of Lynchburg physicians will begin seeing patients at the clinic on a rotating basis.
“Farmville patients with respiratory problems have relied on Dr. Donkor and the Riverside Chest Clinic for quite a while,” said Dr. Michael Milam of Lynchburg Pulmonary Associates. “Our group will make sure that all of the clinic’s existing patients will continue to be taken care of, and the fact that we have more than a half-dozen physicians coming in to serve the clinic will make sure that we can reliably handle additional patients, too.”
Physicians will be treating those suffering from a variety of lung and windpipe conditions.
Lynchburg Pulmonary Associates is a private, independent medical practice offering specialized care for all aspects of lung disorders and sleep disorders.
