FARMVILLE — The Piedmont Regional Narcotic and Gang Task Force recently arrested a Pennsylvania man in connection with an ongoing drug distribution investigation.

According to a Farmville Police arrest report, Zachary A. Clark was arrested in late October.

A Prince Edward County grand jury indicted Clark on one felony count of distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic, two felony counts of selling drugs on or near a prohibited property and one felony count of the sale/distribution of marijuana,” said Corinne Geller, a Virginia State Police spokeswoman. 

She said the alleged offenses were related to the charges occurred in December 2013. “The investigation remains ongoing at this time. Clark was extradited back to Virginia and is being held in the Piedmont Regional Jail,” she said.
