Public hearings set in Cumberland

CUMBERLAND — County supervisors in Cumberland will gather public comment on Tuesday during three hearings regarding a rezoning request and two conditional use permits.
According to county documents, Kevin Dunn is seeking to rezone about 66 acres at 1671 Cumberland Road from residential to business to allow for retail uses. The property currently has an automotive garage on it, according to county documents.
Kellee Sutton is seeking a conditional use permit to reduce setback regulations on a 0.8-acre parcel of property in Cartersville to allow for construction of house. The property is currently zoned residential.
Olander and Minerva Fleming are seeking a conditional use permit for two parcels in Cartersville to allow for the construction of a home. The sought permit would address “lot issues,” according to county documents.
The hearings will be held at the county courthouse on U.S. Route 60 in Cumberland beginning at 7 p.m.
