FARMVILLE — The Omicron Rho Chapter of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. at Longwood University will hold its annual Sleep Out for the Homeless event on Friday.

The event will be held on the Lankford Mall behind the Lankford Student Union from 7:14 p.m. Friday to 7:14 a.m. Saturday.

“The purpose of the the event is to not only raise awareness about those that are homeless but we will also be collecting non-perishable items and donations that we can give to charity,” said Fraternity President Robert A. Jones III.

The public is invited to attend.
