A three-alarm fire destroyed a home at 203 Avon Road between Andersonville and Enonville on Saturday afternoon.

According to Dillwyn Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jason Wharam, the fire was reported at about 11:30 a.m.

Two people were displaced and no one was injured, he said. Once crews arrived on scene, he said the single-story home was fully engulfed in flames.

There’s no word on the cause of the fire, which remains under investigation, Wharam said. The fire not considered suspicious.

Volunteers from Toga and Arvonia volunteer fire departments also responded.
