The Town of Farmville has cast the French flag’s colors of blue, white and red on the Love sign on N. Main St. in downtown Farmville to show support for Paris following the terrorist attacks that occurred over one week ago.

Town Manager Gerald Spates said the town had planned on lighting the sign for some time.

“One of the council members, Jamie [Davis] had asked me about putting some lights on the sign itself, so we decided to try this and see how this turned out,” Spates said.
