Republican E. Morgan Dunnavant has won the race for the District Three board of supervisors’ seat in Buckingham.

Dunnavant received 55 percent of the vote to incumbent John N. Staton’s 44 percent.

Dunnavent received 283 votes while Staton garnered 227.

Election results are unofficial until certified by the county’s electoral board.
