PUBLIC HEARING

The Cumberland County Planning Commission will meet on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in Room C­8 of the Cumberland County Community Center located at the corner of Anderson Highway (Route 60) and Forest View Road (Route 628) in Cumberland, Virginia, to conduct public hearings pursuant to Virginia Code Section 15.2­2204, which such hearing may be continued or adjourned, as required under applicable law, and to consider the following items and taking actions in furtherance thereof:

Code Amendment (CA) 15-­09, Buffers ­ The Cumberland County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a code amendment to require buffers for new commercial development or redevelopment adjacent to residential uses.

Copies of the complete text of the proposed ordinance amendment are available for public review at the office of the Cumberland County Planning Department, County Administration Building, 1 Courthouse Circle, Cumberland, Virginia between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm of each business day. The public is invited to attend this hearing at which persons affected may appear and present their views.
