Christopher Brian Gormus

Christopher Brian Gormus, 33, of Palmyra, left this life too soon the morning of November 12, 2015. 

“Big Chris” was a big hearted man who loved his family, friends and his two dogs, Winston and Lovey.  He enjoyed all genres of music, especially heavy metal. 

He is survived by his father, Fred Russell of Powhatan; mother, Terry Gormus of Arvonia; grandmother, Barbara Gormus of Palmyra; uncles, Duane Gormus and Timmy Gormus and wife, Vicky both of Scottsville; aunt, Cindy Skeen and husband, Gordon of Scottsville; cousin, Cameron Skeen; and more friends than you can count.  He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Freddie R. Gormus. 

A funeral service was held November 14. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Palmyra SPCA.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
