The Farmville-based Voices of Unity, a community choir, recently made a donation to the Farmville Recreation Department. The donation, according to Recreation Director Chris Bolt, was used to purchase candy for the annual Farmville Halloween Costume Parade set for Friday at 4 p.m. in downtown Farmville. We commend both Bolt, left, and Perry Carrington, right, the choir’s director, for working to make Farmville a better place to live for adults and children through their time and donations toward the community.
