Southside SPCA would like to thank the town of Farmville for its amazing participation is this year’s Amazing Raise.

Thanks to your efforts, we ranked 13th overall in a field of 600. We raised over $23,000 and, in addition, received $7,500 for placing third in our category. 

Thanks to everyone who helped us out: The Herald, WFLO, WVHL, our totally awesome local COOLE group volunteers and all the great folks who stopped by to make a donation.   

Our last donation came as we were packing up from a woman who could only afford to give $10, but she was determined to get it to us before we left. She truly demonstrates why Farmville is called the Heart of Virginia!
