The Southside SPCA, 7352 Patrick Henry Hwy., Meherrin, will hold its 9th annual open house Sunday, 1-4 p.m.,  with raffle basket, food and drinks, prize wheel, dog contests, bake sale and SPCA t-shirts for sale. Guided tours will be hourly from 1:30 p.m.; on-site adoptions will be held. All are invited.
