Fuqua students support SODA

The Student Organization for Developing Attitudes, SODA, asked Fuqua School students to come to school without wearing any makeup. Students who supported this nationwide Redefining Beautiful campaign also wore tie-dyed t-shirts.
The purpose of the day was to inspire confidence and to help young women realize they are naturally beautiful. The club wanted to help all students see their own value regardless of their use of makeup or choice of clothing. They recognized that many students engage in negative self-talk, and wanted Fuqua’s campus to be a place where peers play a positive role in the life of their classmates.
The club’s president is Madison Pace, and vice president is Tori Dunn. Anna Cyrus is SODA secretary, and Kweku Asiedu is treasurer. Diane Stubbins is the SODA sponsor.
