Katie Martin, district wildlife biologist for the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, will give a talk about black bears in our area in the meeting room of the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library on Thursday at 7 p.m. This talk, sponsored by the Friends of the Appomattox River, is free and open to the public.
