Way to go! Florist takes time to ‘Make Someone Smile’

Special Touch Designs Florist and Gifts in Dillwyn recently filled Smiley mugs with floral arrangements and delivered them to Heritage Hall Nursing home. The mugs, donated by Teleflora, are part of a national program, “Make Someone Smile,” designed to brighten the day of those in nursing homes or hospitals. “Some of these people never get visitors, much less flowers,” Jonathan Fitzgerald, owner of Special Touch, said. A local business that takes the time to share smiles in nursing homes and hospitals deserves our recognition.
