Neighbors visit as autumn begins

Joe and Cathy Weaver, of Cumberland, visited in the home of James and Virginia Boyles, of Cumberland, on Sept. 12.
Happy birthday wishes are sent out this week to Charlotte Davis of New Canton (Sept. 18); Scott Midkiff of Cumberland (Sept. 20); Brian Baird of Dillwyn (Sept. 21); and Sherry Midkiff of Cumberland (Sept. 22).
Visiting in the home of Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland, on Saturday and Annie May Miles, of Dillwyn were Rev. Clyde E. and Eloise Senger, of Crewe.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the sick and shut-in.
Michael Boyles, of Cumberland, and Jan Vaughn, of Richmond, visited in the home of Elizabeth Stone, of Dillwyn, recently.
Autumn officially begins on Wednesday at 4:21 a.m.
T. J. and Stephanie Waycaster and daughter Cece, all of Dillwyn visited in the home of Annie May Miles, of Dillwyn, on Saturday. Also visiting was Sue Lipscomb of Cumberland.
On Sept. 10, Barry and Linda Miles of Cumberland along with Annie May Miles of Dillwyn, had a nice evening meal at a Farmville restaurant.
A big hello and a special prayer goes out this week to our friend Anita Ford, of Appomattox.
