FARMVILLE — On Friday, Johnston Drive in Farmville will be closed due to an athletic event at the Longwood Golf Course, according to Farmville Town Manager Gerald Spates.

The road will be closed from 3-5:30 p.m., and traffic will be detoured, he said.

On Wednesday, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Oak Street will be closed due to the removal of a tree from private property. Traffic will be detoured through Grove and Buffalo streets, Spates said.
