Congratulations to Pastor Donald and Sue Floyd, of Evergreen, who will be celebrating their wedding anniversary Sept. 25. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the sick and shut-in.

A large crowd from across Southside and Central Virginia attended the ninth annual gospel sing and supper at the home of Becky and Linda Powell of Farmville. Everyone who attended enjoyed great food, fun and fellowship and Southern gospel music from Smokey Wilson of Concord.

This is a free event and open to the general public each year.
