Midway Baptist Church, 837 Guinea Road, Farmville, will celebrate homecoming on Sunday. Pastor Irma T. Watson will preach at 11 a.m.; dinner will follow. There will be no afternoon service.

Revival will be held Aug. 17 – 21 with prayer and praise at 7:30 p.m. and worship and 8 p.m. Guest speakers are:  Monday – the Rev. Alvin Witcher, Mt. Olive Baptist Church; Tuesday – the Rev. Lee Watkins, Cornerstone Baptist Church; Wednesday – the Rev. Otis Johnson, Peaks Baptist Church; Thursday – the Rev. Dr. Sarah Coleman, Union Baptist Church; Friday – the Rev. Dr. James H. Taylor III, Race Street Baptist Church.  All are invited.
