On Sunday, at 3 p.m., the Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Pamplin will observe an “Hour of Prayer — Praying Deacons.” Deacon Pierce Giles of Shiloh Baptist Church in Waynesboro will serve as the guest speaker. Music will be rendered by the men’s chorus and the Gospel Starlights of Amelia. All are welcome to attend.
