FARMVILLE — Jeffrey Gore, a vice president and branch manager of The Bank of Charlotte County, was one of 65 bankers who recently graduated from the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
The three-year school is sponsored by the Virginia Bankers Association (VBA), in cooperation with the McIntire School of Commerce at UVA.
“We are proud of the 65 bankers who graduated today,” said Bruce Whitehurst, VBA president and CEO. “These students have developed a range of skills that will both enhance their current performance, as well as qualify them as potential candidates for advancement within their institutions. Additionally, the connections they have made with other students will benefit them both personally and professionally for years to come.”
The VBA School of Bank Management is designed to provide a multi-dimensional educational experience for bankers.
