The Farmville Walmart celebrated a grand re-opening of their recent storewide upgrade on July 17. The upgrade included resetting the store and adding new equipment. Fabrics were also added to the inventory, noted Farmville Manager David Holton. Community grants were given to the following organizations: Farmville VFW – $1,000; PEFYA – $2,000; Charlotte Meals on Wheels – $1,000; Fuqua School – $500; and FACES – $20,000.
