A Longwood University bus struck a train underpass, now a portion of the High Bridge Trail on Mill Street near Second Street in Farmville, on Friday afternoon shortly after 3 p.m.

The single-vehicle crash resulted in three reported injuries, according to Farmville Police Cpl. Roger Watson.

Members of the Farmville Volunteer Fire Department and Prince Edward Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
