Demolition workers were having at it Wednesday. The former Buffalo Shook Co. building on Farmville’s West Third Street is coming down. Walk2Campus, as reported in April, purchased the manufacturing building. Specific plans for the site have not been detailed. Buffalo Shook Co., which did kiln drying for the furniture and flooring industry and manufactured wood stakes used for a variety of purposes, closed in 2013 after 101 years of business.
