The Southside SPCA July Cat of the Month is Calamazoo.

Also known as Callie, Calamazoo came to the SPCA in February 2010 from Charlotte County.  She was found under a trailer.

Calamazoo came with a scar between her should blades and was loaded with fleas. Since the hair did not grow back in that spot it could have been a burn from a car motor or exhaust pipe.  Calamazoo is very sweet and loving and socializes well with the other cats in the cattery.  She is about 7 years old. Callie is sweet, and while not a lap cat, loves being petted.  She can hold her own against other cats and even dogs, but she gets along fine with both.
